Adviser Investments announced today that it has been recognized as one of the 2020 “Top 100 Wealth Managers” by RIA Channel. Adviser Investments ranked #18 of the firms selected for the list.
“We recognize these firms as leaders in their field and congratulate them on their success,” the publication said on its website.
Adviser Investments hasn’t missed a beat amid the pandemic stay-at-home guidelines and the firm has appeared in the media for its commitment to turning down a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan from the federal government. In May, Chairman and Co-founder Dan Wiener’s CityWire op-ed on why investment advisers shouldn’t accept PPP loans made him a sought-after voice in the national press.
“It’s especially meaningful to be acknowledged this year in light of the challenges many other businesses have faced in transitioning employees to stay-at-home work,” said Adviser Investments Managing Director Dick Veidenheimer. “As a forward-looking, growing firm, we were able to hit the ground running and find opportunities, while never losing sight of the personalized service and peace of mind we offer each and every client.”
RIA Channel picked the firm among the nation’s top wealth managers based on both size and growth in assets as reported to the SEC as of June 30, 2020, as well as a proprietary set of criteria and data.
This honor marked the latest industry accolade for Adviser Investments in 2020. Earlier this month, the Boston Business Journal recognized the firm among Massachusetts’ top-25 independent investment advisers. In March, Barron’s ranked Adviser Investments as the #5 “Top Wealth Adviser in Massachusetts.” In April, the firm was named a “Best Place to Work for Financial Advisers” by InvestmentNews. RIA Channel alongside Forbes selected Adviser Investments as one of their “Top A type of security which allows investors to indirectly invest in an underlying basket of financial instruments (these may include stocks, bonds, commodities or other types of instruments). Shares in an ETF are publicly traded on an exchange, and the price of an ETF’s shares will fluctuate throughout the trading day (traditional mutual funds trade only once a day). For example, one popular ETF tracks the companies in the S&P 500, so buying a share of the ETF gets an investor exposure to all 500 companies in the index. Power Users.”
The firm also recently garnered praise for its commitment to employee wellness. It was named among “The Nation’s Best and Brightest for Wellness” for 2019 and the company also earned a 2020 “Best Wellness Employer Bronze Certification” from Wellness Workdays, awarded in collaboration with experts from Harvard Medical School.
