I think that it is so important to teach the generations that follow about money—earning, saving, investing and sharing. Parents should encourage their children to work and they can do so by matching their earnings with the funding of a Roth IRA. Young earners can learn about investing by getting involved with the management of this money. Parents can also teach their children about sharing with the use of a donor-advised fund that the child can direct themself.
