Adviser Investments Celebrates Women’s Leadership through WWMI

March 8, 2019

In recognition of International Women’s Day (IWD), we wanted to take a moment to recognize the many outstanding women that have contributed their leadership, insight and talent to Adviser Investments.

Although IWD dates back to the early 20th century, the United Nations established March 8 as the global day of recognition in 1975: “…A time to reflect on progress made, to call for change and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.”

To help further Adviser Investments’ ongoing commitment to a diverse workforce and charitable giving, two of our team members launched the Women in Wealth Management Initiative (WWMI) with a simple two-pronged mission: Support female colleagues here at Adviser Investments and improve the communities in which we live.

Through WWMI, Adviser Investments employees are amplifying their mission beyond the company with extensive community outreach. The group’s inaugural philanthropic effort benefited Prospect Hill Academy’s THRIVE lunch program. We supported THRIVE’s worthy program with a food and winter clothing drive under which Adviser Investments management and employees donated food gift cards and assembled a total of 1,600-plus servings of mac and cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, milk, cereal, raisins, granola bars and much more.

Adviser Investments’ WWMI initiative is working closely with our marketing and communications departments to generate and produce content custom-tailored to a female audience. Through these combined efforts, we look forward to continuing to cultivate and support the involvement of all of our valued employees as well as the greater community.
