| Daniel P. Wiener, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Dan is one of the nation's foremost experts on Vanguard mutual funds. He is editor of the 5-time award-winning newsletter, the Independent Adviser for Vanguard Investors, and author of the definitive text on investing with Vanguard, the annual Independent Guide to the Vanguard Funds. Dan co-founded Adviser Investments in 1994 in response to numerous requests for his personal supervision over client accounts. His insights and analysis appear regularly in such publications as the Wall Street Journal and Barron's and on CNBC, PBS and Bloomberg television. Previously, Dan wrote about personal finance for U.S. News & World Report and Fortune magazine. He spent seven years on the board of the Bedford-Stuyvesant YMCA and currently serves on the investment committee of BRIC, an arts and music non-profit. He earned a B.S. from Tufts University. An avid cyclist, he and his wife live in Brooklyn, NY. | |
| Dan Silver, President & Co-Founder Dan co-founded Adviser Investments in 1994. He has bottom-line responsibility for the overall business, including marketing, sales, finance, and new product development. He also chairs the Portfolio Review Committee. In 2004 he was selected one of the Boston Business Journal's top "40 Under 40" business leaders. He serves as a director on several boards, including the Eastern Massachusetts Better Business Bureau. Dan has been profiled in Investment News magazine and appears regularly as an on-air commentator for New England Cable News. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and served as a Big Brother for 10 years. Dan earned a bachelors degree in history from Tufts University, and an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He resides with his wife and two children in Newton, MA. | |

| James H. Lowell III, Partner, Chief Investment Officer Jim is a nationally recognized authority on investing, and is partner and Chief Investment Officer of Adviser Investments. Jim is an investment columnist for Forbes Magazine, the editor and owner of the multiple award-winning, Fidelity Investor and of The ETF Trader on Marketwatch.com, president of the Fund Family Shareholder Association, and the founder and chairman of The Rankings Service. Jim is the former investment strategiest for Boston-based Adams, Harkness & Hill, and has written several books on investing, most recently Investing from Scratch (Penguin, 2007) and What Every Fidelity Investor Needs to Know (Wiley, 2007). Jim was educated at Vassar College, where he earned a B.A. in philosophy, and holds master's degrees in theological studies from Harvard Divinity School, and in Anglo Irish literature from Trinity College (Dublin, Ireland). He is an accomplished sport fisherman. Jim lives in Needham, MA. | |
| Eric J. Godes, Chief Operating Officer Eric is Adviser Investments' Chief Operating Officer as well as a member of our Portfolio Review Committee. He served in the same role at Kobren Insight Management (KIM), which was acquired by Adviser Investments in 2011. Before joining KIM in 1990, Eric held senior management positions at Kanon, Bloch, Carré, a mutual fund research organization. He currently serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the non-profit Massachusetts Service Alliance, and was formerly a member of Fidelity's Investment Advisor Council as well as President of Massachusetts Squash. Eric began his career at Fidelity Investments. He holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont and an M.B.A. from Babson College. | |
| John Russel (Rusty) Vanneman, CFA, CMT, Chief Investment Strategist Rusty serves as Chief Investment Strategist at Adviser Investments. He joined the firm upon the acquisition of Kobren Insight Management (KIM), where he'd served as the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining KIM, Rusty was a Senior Analyst at Fidelity Management and Research's Strategic Advisors unit, and was a Managing Analyst for Thomson Financial's Global Markets group. In his spare time, he serves on the Babson College Board of Overseers, the Foundation Board for the Food Bank of Lincoln as well as for the Foundation Board of First-Plymouth Congregational Church. He is also involved in the Teammates mentoring program. Rusty received a B.S. in Management from Babson College in 1988. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. He is also a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and a member of the Market Technician's Association. | |
| Chris Keith, Vice President, Fixed Income Chris manages Adviser Investments' fixed income portfolios and is a member of the Portfolio Review Committee. He joined Adviser Investments upon the firm's 2011 acquisition of Kobren Insight Management (KIM), where he'd served as Vice President and Fixed Income Manager since 2001. Prior to joining KIM, Chris was a Vice President in the Private Client Services Group of Robertson Stephens Inc., where he designed and implemented fixed income portfolios for high net worth clients. Chris was also the head fixed income trader for Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette's New England region. Chris graduated from Northeastern University. | |
